Company Secretary

Christine Humber has taken over all Company Secretary duties from Tony Day with immediate effect. Christine will be Company Secretary designate until her position is confirmed by the AGM in April. Her contact details are on the 'contact us' page tab above.
Tony will be continuing as a director for the foreseeable future subject to election at the AGM of course.

Service charge Nov 2011 - Oct 2012

At the September Board meeting Directors agreed the budget for the year November 2011 - October 2012. There will be no change to the amount of the service charge. Details are on the service charges page.

There will, however, be a change to the standing order arrangements. Some people are over-paying their service charge every year (and this has to be adjusted every year) because they continue to pay over 12 months instead of 10.

From this financial year standing orders will be payable over 12 months. This will involve paying £12.00 for the first 11 months and £8.00 for the final month. It remains to be seen whether or not those same people forget to ensure the final payment is reduced but the alternative was to increase the service charge to make it 12 equal payments of £12.00 and the Board decided there would be no increase this year.

New Board member

There will definately be a vacancy at the next AGM for a new director. Anyone wishing to join the Board would be most welcome, just get in touch with Tony Day or Nicky Roissetter and have a chat about it.

Landscaping.

The annual hedge trimming was carried out on 17th & 18th November.

There are some elm trees which have died since the beginning of the year and these have been made safe this month.
